Creates a new empty dock.
To add items to the dock, drag them in from the Finder. The dock will accept applications, control panels, documents, folders, disks and servers.
New URL
Creates a new untitled URL in the current dock.
You can also add URLs to a dock by dragging them into an empty space in a dock. Not available when there is no space in the dock.
Open
Opens the currently selected items.
A quick way to open an item is to double-click it.
Prints the currently selected items.
Move To Trash
Removes the currently selected item or quits the currently selected application.
Close Window
Closes the active window. If the active window is a dock, it is removed.
Open Location
Opens the Open Location window. Type a URL and press return to open it with the appropriate helper application.
Save Settings
Makes an immediate backup copy of the DragThing Preferences file. A backup copy is normally made when the application quits and every few hours.
Save A Copy As
Saves a copy of the DragThing Preferences file to a new file. You can double-click this new file to use the stored settings immediately.
Get Info
Opens the Finder Info window for the currently selected items.
A quick way to open the Info window is to hold down the Control key and double-click the item.
General Information
Opens the window showing the General Information section.
Sharing
Opens the window showing the Sharing section.
Memory
Opens the window showing the Memory section.
Label
Use this menu to assign labels to the currently selected items.
Find
Opens the 'Sherlock' application by default.
You can choose a different application to be opened in the Preferences window.
Show Original
Opens the surrounding Finder window for the currently selected items.
A quick way to open the Finder window is to hold down the Command key and double-click the item.
Import Dock
Creates a new dock containing all the items from a selected folder.
Export Dock
Saves each item in the active dock into a new folder as alias files.
Quit (Mac OS 8 and 9)
Quits the DragThing application. You can disable the Command-Q key combination from the Preferences window.
